You’ll be able to reach us by car as well as by plane (closest airport is Hamburg, but Bremen or Hannover will work as well) and by train to station “Himmelpforten”.
On Friday and Sunday afternoon we will provide one private shuttle bus (which is included in all packages) from Himmelpforten to Hüll and back. The shuttle will go only once at a designated time (available only Friday at 17.15 h and back on Sunday at 16.20 h – times fitting the Metronom train Schedule)
. So keep this in mind when planning your trip. If you cannot take advantage of the private bus shuttle make sure to order your taxi in advance, at least one day ahead.
By train
The closest train station is „Himmelpforten“. Coming from Hamburg you will get there by heading to Cuxhaven. Purchase a ticket that is valid for the total HVV network („Gesamtbereich“). Trains run hourly (except for Sundays and holidays). From the main train station in Hamburg it will take you approximately 60 minutes by train to get there.

At Hülly Blues we have different types of rooms in two different buildings, but both on the same campus only a few steps away from each other.
Each room is individual in layout, number of beds or mattresses and architecture due to the structure of the old, thatch-roofed buildings. There are:
- 3 rooms with 3 beds/matresses and shared bathroom,
- 5 rooms with 4 beds/matresses and shared bathroom,
- 4 rooms with 5 beds/matresses and shared bathroom.
Some rooms have a base level with beds and a loft level with mattresses on the mezzanine floor, reachable through a (mostly tiny) wooden ladder. Be careful when under the influence … All rooms are prepared with bed linen and towels. We have almost no rooms with en suite bathroom. However, if you happen to be placed in one, you are lucky 🙂 All these rooms are included in the Twin Room Package prices.
Furthermore we have 3 single rooms with shared bathroom and 3 twin/double rooms with shared bathroom. If you wish to book one of these rooms please choose the according accommodation package (Single Bed Room Package). Availability may be restricted, a “first come first served” policy applies. Prices are higher than the other rooms, obviously.
We are more than happy if you state in your registration the names of people you would like to share your room with (preferred roommates, groups of 3, 4 or 5 people would be the best). If you don’t state anything you will be placed in a room with other dancers of the same or mixed gender, according to your stated preference in the registration form.

Dorm
If you travel on a tight budget you might think about our Basic Dorm Package, which secures you a space for your own mattress and sleeping bag (you will have to bring both as well as towels). There is room for up to 12 people in the dorm, and we have 2 restrooms nearby. For a shower you will need to use either the sauna facilities or some of the shared bathrooms upstairs.

If you choose to book external accommodation on your own (if you need extra privacy or in case we’ll be sold out of rooms/beds), select our External Accomodation Package. You can find some B&B and hotels in the countryside around the ABC Convention Centre. Please be aware that driving from Hamburg takes you approximately 90 minutes one way, so we do not recommend to book accommodation or staying with friends in the city of Hamburg.

We will take care of all your needs regarding food and drinks. Full board is included in all packages, so you will enjoy common breakfast, lunch, coffee & cake, and dinner. At the parties we will serve an additional midnight snack, e.g. a soup. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day.
Drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic cold and got drinks) will be available at self service and are included in your package.
Free drinking (tap) water will also be supplied at all classes and parties.
Please let us know with your registration if you need specific food (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, …), we will try our best to meet your needs.
